Props to LOVE this website for great easy recipes that are fun too! Check her out! It's where I found this great recipe, especially good for all the candy left over from Halloween!
Halloween Candy Bark
1 lb. bittersweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
3 Butterfinger candy bars (or 8 fun size bars), roughly chopped
3 toffee candy bars (or 6 fun size bars), roughly chopped
8 Reese cups, cut into wedges
¼  cup honey roasted peanuts
3 oz. yellow and orange peanut
M&Ms, coarsely  chopped
3 oz. good quality white chocolate, finely chopped
Line a baking sheet with foil.  Place the chopped chocolate in a heatproof bowl set over a pot of simmering water.  Heat, stirring  occasionally until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
Pour the  chocolate over the foil and smooth into a thin layer with a spatula.
Evenly  sprinkle the chopped candy bars, Reese cups, honey roasted peanuts, and
peanut  M&Ms over the melted chocolate.  Press gently to adhere the candy to
the  melted chocolate.  Transfer to the refrigerator and chill for 30
Melt the white chocolate, again using the double boiler method, until smooth.
Drizzle over the chilled candy bark.  Return to the refrigerator and let chill again until the white chocolate is set, 3o minutes more.Peel the sheet of chocolate away from the foil and break into irregular pieces.  Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Lately I have been obsessed with barns. They are so beautiful and spiritual.  There is a small barn that I pass every day on my way to work. I always thought it would be fun to take a picture of it in each of the 4 seasons. But I am too late. The barn has fallen down. Here are some barns I found on pinterest for your viewing pleasure! (yes..I am addicted to pinterest!)

Do you know how excited I am to own my first pair of "skinny jeans?"

When I post my "outfit inspirations," do you think I actually own those clothes? Or just dream of owning them? What would I have to be doing for a living to afford all of those wonderful outfits?

How can I have over 100 people visit my blog one day and 20 the next? Where did all those people come from? Where did they all go? Why didn't any of them come back?

The stores already have Halloween stuff marked down and Christmas trees put up. Am I the only one confused as to what holiday it is?

And as promised, good tail gate food and outfit inspirations...even if the Buckeyes aren't having such a good season!

Yummy and Sweet Pigs in a Blanket-You will LOVE this great take on the classic finger good!

3 Tbsp of brown sugar
1/2 cup of butter
1/2 cup of chopped pecans
1 package of Little Smokies

Mix first 4 ingredients in small sauce pan, until honey, sugar & butter has melted. While melting, cut each crescent roll into 3 to 5 pieces. Roll a sausage in each one. Pour melted mixture into bottom of 9x13 pan. Place each wrapped sausage next to one another, seam side down, on top of mixture. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes or until golden brown. These will go like hotcakes at any tail gate or pot luck.

Granted this says University of Arkansas, but it could easily be an OSU t-shirt and buckeye earrings. There's no reason we can't look cute at the game right?
Need I say more?

Here in Ohio we've made national news(
because of "exotic" animals that were let loose by their "owner" and then later killed by police. It's a long, sad story that is being discussed over many an office water cooler. Should people be allowed to keep these types of animals? Whose lives are more sacred...theirs or ours? In honor of the beautiful lives lost, I share with you some of God's most amazing creations...

Did I mention that I love fall. This is why...
And this...
And finally...
"I always wonder why birds choose to stay in the same place when they can fly anywhere on earth, then I ask myself the same question."-Harun Yahya
Well, I’ve finally given up my specialty coffee addiction to help with my Crohn’s Disease. Can you believe I haven’t tried the Starbux Salty Caramel Mocha or Apple Crumble Latte? Oh how I want to!  Oh I do! I do! Sigh. Lord Help Me. But I have replaced this with an addiction to Starbux Salty Caramel Hot Chocolate. And this still costs money people! So I am trying to make my very own little concoctions that get me through the early morning hours at the office, sitting in front of the computer...

First you need a very special fancy mug preferably from Starbucks (that was given to you by a Secret Buddy at work.) A Starbux mug makes you feel like the liquid you are about to put in your mouth might really be Starbux. Then you need some Nestle Hot Cocoa mix in chocolate caramel flavor or Swiss Miss Dark Chocolate Sensations. Can’t forget the whip cream out of a can from Wally-Mart with your name on it, so no one else snatches it from the office refrigerator. And no Holly’s Deluxe Hot and Cozy Chocolate Orgasm is complete with out a “Muggie.” A“Muggie” is a “Snuggie” for your mug, hand knitted by your favorite coworker. Isn’t it just lovely? It even has cable knit down the sides and cute little wooden buttons. It is so nice to hold it in your hands when the mug is hot. It just feels so... cozy. Can't live with out my "Muggie."

Mug: Free
Swiss Miss Box of 8 packs: $3.00
Whip Cream: $2.00
Muggie: Free

For the price of about 2 tall Salty Caramel Hot chocolates at Starbux, I can have 8 Holly’s Deluxe Hot and Cozy Chocolate Orgasms! Granted, nothing tastes as good as Starbucks but this will have to do. Won't it? Please tell me it will? It will, right? I can live with out my Starbux can't I? Yes I can. I know I can. I can, cant I?

Crescent rolls are so easy to work with and come out of the oven a buttery crispy piece of heaven. Below are some simple recipes I have found on Pinterest using crescent rolls. Click on the little link on bottom left of each picture to be taken to the recipe and check out for more great goodness. Do you have any yummy crescent roll recipes? Check back later in the week where I'll share a great take on the tail gate favorite Pigs in a Blanket and some great outfit inspirations for the football game!
Mom and I visited The Rural Society Antique and Garden Show today in Mt. Vernon. Loved it! Found some goodies... mini pumpkins and gourds, a picture holder made out of a fork, framed mirror and glass cake stand. Love seeing creative women doing what they love! So inspiring!
Is this a real or stuff animal?
He's real.
There will be another show in May. (But I don't want you to go.) This show is like a little secret...parking was great, food wonderful, venders even better and no crowds to fight with.  Oh shoot, I just posted all this on my blog so you'll really want to go now! Here is a link to Warwick Farms and The Rural Society's website:
(The dog did give me permission to photograph him, as well as the other things that were so beautiful.)
