PART ONE: In honor of Ruby's 10 week birthday, I am reposting the recipe for Organic Dog Treats. They are so yummy (not that I've tried them.) Ace goes crazy for them and Ruby is about to try them for the first time. I will be making batches soon for the winners of the Puppy Naming Contest. Matt and I went out to dinner last night and there were screaming kids everywhere! We decided that dogs are better than kids because you can put them in a crate and go out to dinner. I don't think you are allowed to due that with kids.

Organic Dog Treats
2 cups organic whole  wheat flour
1 cup organic smooth peanut butter
1  teaspoon baking powder
1 cup organic skim milk
1  tablespoon organic honey

Preheat oven to 350  degrees.  In large bowl, combine flour and baking powder. In another large bowl,  mix peanut butter, milk and honey, then add dry ingredients.  Knead on floured  work
surface. Roll out to 1/4 inch thickness and using a bone shaped cookie  cutter,
cut out treats. Place on cookie sheets and bake for about 15-20 minutes.  Remove
from sheet and cool completely.
I have  found various sized bone cookie cutters at Hobby Lobby. They always have a 40%  off
coupon in our Sunday paper. (And it doesn't hurt that my family knows I absolutley LOVE Hobby Lobby and they get me gift cards for there!)

PART TWO: When Hubster and I were cleaning out our garage this summer, we dumped a bunch of old soil on the side of the garage. Recently we noticed this beautful vine popping up with vibrant purple flowers. It was even growing inside the spout without any sun light! Does anyone know what flower this is?  We think it might be a Morning Glory but we really have no clue. It isn't anything we have ever planted before. Any green-thumbers out there able to to tell us what it is? I actually would love to plant more!

My morning glories are white, but they look like the same shape. If it is, you won't have to worry about planting more. Once you have them they pop up EVERYWHERE! Just give it a little time :) I never planted any on the side of my house, and they took over that whole flower bed!

Looks like a beautiful morning glory to me, but then I am just the wife of a forester and daugher in law of a biologist so that is just a best guess confirmation! Who cares what it is! Enjoy it! LOL.
